I have been a Counselor and a Registered Art Therapist for over 25 years. My undergraduate degree was in studio art and psychology. I was pretty certain I would starve as an artist, but the creative process has always come natural for me. I went on to get my Masters of Arts in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville. I have never regretted that decision. The major focus of my work has been assisting individuals and families in transitioning through difficult life events. It is essential to be able to tap into your strength, find the skills necessary to navigate through grief, life-changing illness, traumatic injuries, and other major life events. For the last 15 years, I have been a professional grief counselor for hospice providing support to families and patients through verbal and nonverbal counseling.
Having been born here but lived in many places, I’m very happy to be back in beautiful Colorado. I’m in awe how fast life is going by.
I feel totally blessed that I love where I live, love what I do and love who I’m with.
